Description

Aaron Luka's "Songs We Know By Heart" Piano Sing-Along

When the music ends at Party in the Park, the celebration is just getting started.

Take the short two-block walk to American Legion Post 168, where pianist, vocalist and interactive entertainer Aaron Luka leads "Songs We Know By Heart," an evening of Jimmy Buffett favorites, Trop Rock classics and island sing-alongs driven by audience requests. Whether you're a lifelong Parrothead or simply know every word to Margaritaville, you'll be part of the show.

No cover. No tickets. Just the songs we know by heart.

Aaron's career spans jazz, dueling pianos, live piano karaoke and interactive performances that turn strangers into friends. Buffett fans may also appreciate his connection to original Coral Reefer guitarist Roger Bartlett, whose musical path crossed Aaron's early in his career before coming full circle during Just a Few Friends.

The venue is a destination in its own right. Known for generations as Key West's "Black Town Hall," American Legion Post 168 welcomed legendary performers including James Brown, B.B. King, Otis Redding, Etta James and Key West's own Coffee Butler. Today, the historic hall is once again filled with live music thanks to the efforts of the Legion, the Key West Cultural Center & Veterans Museum, and local musicians dedicated to preserving its remarkable legacy.

Located just around the corner from the Bahama Village Music Program—one of the charitable beneficiaries of Just a Few Friends—Post 168 represents the rich musical heritage that continues to shape Key West today.

Inside you'll find cold air conditioning, a spacious dance floor, comfortable seating, real restrooms and some of the best drink prices in town. Grab dinner from one of the food trucks at Party in the Park, then head over for the perfect way to close out Sunday night.
