Welcome to the website for Just a Few Friends Key West (“JAFF,” “Festival,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this website, purchasing an Event Badge or ticket, or attending any festival event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website or participate in festival activities.

1. Festival Overview
Just a Few Friends Key West is an independently produced community celebration honoring the music, lifestyle, and island culture that helped shape Key West.
Festival programming may include concerts, bar crawls, tours, food events, contests, charity fundraisers, and public gatherings held at multiple venues throughout Key West.
Many events take place outdoors or at independently operated venues.
Festival schedules, venues, performers, and activities are subject to change without notice.
2. Event Badges, Tickets, and Purchases
Certain festival experiences may require the purchase of an Event Badge, ticket, merchandise item, or package.
Event badges may include benefits such as:
festival merchandise
priority access to select events
participation in specific activities
recognition within the festival community
charitable donation components
Purchasing a badge does not guarantee admission to events that are capacity limited unless explicitly stated.
All purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or if an event is canceled by the festival organizers.
The festival reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders suspected of fraud or misuse.
3. Accommodations/Rates/Additional Charges
These may include but are not limited to, room-service fees, parking fees, and fees associated with an optional use of items in participant’s room and/or fees assessed for damages to participant’s room or housing accommodation. Festival participants understand and acknowledge that Just a Few Friends has no responsibility whatsoever for such additional fees, and further, that it is the responsibility of the Festival participant to ascertain any and all terms, conditions, and other information relating to their use of any room or housing accommodation associated with the Festival.
4. Travel
Festival participants acknowledge and understand that Just a Few Friends is not in any way connected or associated with any airline. Just a Few Friends has no obligation regarding flight arrangements of Festival participants. Just a Few Friends accepts no responsibility for any flight cancellations, delays, loss or damage to luggage, or any other expenses, damages or other losses of any kind related to air travel or other means of transportation.
5. Event Changes and Scheduling
Festival organizers reserve the right to:
change event schedules
substitute performers
change venues
adjust event formats
modify programming
Changes may occur due to weather, permitting requirements, artist availability, safety considerations, or operational needs.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for refunds.
6. Weather and Force Majeure
Festival events may take place outdoors and may be affected by weather.
JAFF is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to:
hurricanes
tropical storms
severe weather
acts of God
natural disasters
government orders
public safety concerns
labor disputes
venue closures
In such circumstances the festival may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel events without liability.
7. Assumption of Risk
By attending festival events, participants acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks including but not limited to:
crowded public spaces
outdoor environments
live music and amplified sound
alcohol consumption
transportation between venues
physical activity
Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
8. Liability Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, attendees release and hold harmless:

Daily Plan-it
festival organizers and partners
sponsors
participating venues
vendors and exhibitors
performers
volunteers
contractors and service providers
from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in festival activities.
9. Independent Venue Operations
Many festival events take place at independently owned venues, including bars, restaurants, hotels, tour operators, and entertainment venues.
Each venue operates under its own:
business licenses
insurance policies
safety procedures
alcohol service regulations
capacity limits
JAFF is not responsible for the actions, policies, services, or conduct of third-party venues.
10. Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol may be served at certain festival events.
Attendees must comply with all local laws and venue policies regarding alcohol consumption.
Participants must be of legal drinking age where alcohol is served.
JAFF encourages responsible enjoyment and reserves the right to remove individuals displaying unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful behavior.
11. Photography, Video, and Media
Festival events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded.
By attending festival events, participants grant permission for their image, likeness, and voice to be used in:
photography
video recordings
livestream broadcasts
promotional materials
advertising campaigns
social media content
news coverage
Such use may occur without compensation.
12. Intellectual Property
All festival branding, logos, designs, website content, and promotional materials are the property of Just a Few Friends Key West or its partners.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of festival intellectual property is prohibited.
13. Vendor and Sponsor Participation
Vendors, sponsors, and partners participating in the festival must comply with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and event guidelines.
Festival organizers reserve the right to remove or deny participation to any vendor, sponsor, or partner whose conduct is deemed unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with festival standards.
14. Accessibility
JAFF strives to make festival experiences accessible whenever possible. However, due to the nature of historic Key West venues and outdoor environments, accessibility conditions may vary by location.
Attendees requiring specific accommodations are encouraged to contact festival organizers in advance.
15. Website Use
The JAFF website is provided for informational purposes.
Users agree not to:
attempt unauthorized access to the website
distribute malicious software
interfere with site functionality
misuse festival content or branding
16. Indemnification
By participating in festival activities or using this website, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Just a Few Friends Key West and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your participation or misuse of festival services.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Any disputes arising from participation in the festival shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Monroe County, Florida.
18. Changes to Terms
JAFF reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
