Get Your Collectible Souvenir Charity Badge...
Collect the Weekend!
One badge might carry a sticker from the Cheeseburger Beach Battle, another from an afternoon on the water, and still another from a favorite concert, local hangout or unexpected stop along the way. Together, those stickers tell the story of a Labor Day weekend spent celebrating the music, memories and friendships that continue to bring people back to celebrate Key West's favorite son.
The souvenir charity Event Badge begins as a collectible credential featuring this year’s tribute to Shrimp Boat Sound. Wear it around town and it quickly becomes something more: an easy way to recognize fellow festival friends, start a conversation and feel connected to the community gathering across the island.
Badge Stickers
Badge holders can collect exclusive stickers at participating events, activities, businesses and sponsor locations throughout the weekend, while supplies last. Each sticker can be added to the designated spaces on the back of the badge, gradually transforming it into a colorful, one-of-a-kind keepsake. Collect 10 official stickers and you’ll unlock an exclusive reward available at Monday’s Mustache Contest at the Chart Room!
Badge Perks
The badge also includes a QR code that serves as a constantly updated guide to badge-holder benefits. Scan it beginning September 3 for special offers from participating businesses and sponsors, schedule information, important announcements and links to select virtual programming, if you can't make it in person.
Badge holders receive several additional perks, including reserved viewing at Sunday’s Party in the Park concert featuring Howard Livingston, Will Kimbrough and Mac McAnally; early entry to the Wheeland Brothers and Caymen & the Mango Men concerts at Sunset Pier; early access to join the Second Line Memorial Parade lineup; and advance notification when new events and tickets become available.
Support Important Charities
The badge is not a ticket to the festival. The Second Line Parade, Party in the Park and most music events remain free and open to everyone. Instead, purchasing a badge is a way to support the charitable heart of the weekend while receiving a few special benefits along the way.
One hundred percent of the charity souvenir badge proceeds go through the non-profit Community Foundation of the Florida Keys to benefit Reef Relief, the Bahama Village Music Program and scholarships for local high school students pursuing music, technical arts and marine science. Last year together we raised over $45,000!
Getting Your Badges
Badges ordered before August 1 will be mailed to the address provided the first week of August. Those ordered after August 1 will be pickup only at festival headquarters located at First Legal Rum, 105 Simonton Street, from 11 am to 5pm daily. Note: If you have a VIP Hotel package your badges will be held in Key West and delivered to your hotel.
Personalize the blank space on the front with your name, hometown, number of shows attended or anything else that helps tell your story. Then wear it, fill it with stickers and let it become a record of the places you went, the music you heard and the friends you met along the way.
